New Jersey Realty Transfer Fees
(Effective August 1, 2004)

The New Jersey Realty Transfer Fees are paid by the Seller (grantor of deed) on the sale of property.  A portion of the fee is apportioned to the county when the deed is registered/filed with the County Clerk’s office with the remainder going to the state of New Jersey.
